Baptism and Communion

Tab baptisms

Our practice is to baptise believers rather than babies, as we believe this is closer to what the Bible teaches. We have a baptistery at the front of the church, and this is used as part of a special service when we celebrate what God has been doing in someone’s life.

Baptism doesn’t make someone a Christian - it’s a powerful symbol of what has already happened, and gives the person the opportunity to follow Jesus’ example, and to tell everyone what has happened to them!

Our Batism gallery will be back soon.

We celebrate communion together twice a month, once in the morning and once in the evening. We believe that we follow Jesus’ command in doing this, but like baptism, we see the bread and wine as symbols, rather than being the actual body and blood of Jesus.
