When to arrive
If it's your first visit then it's probably best to turn up around 15 minutes before the start, but don’t worry if you are late we will find you a seat. If you are driving then you'll be pleased to hear that there is plenty of free parking in the public car park which is about a 2 minute walk away. For directions to reach us please see the Find Us page. You'll be greeted on the door by our welcome team who will give you any information you require about the church and a copy of the Tab News sheet.
What to wear
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are an informal church and accept people as they are. There is no need to dress up to try and be someone that you're not. Whether you come suited or a dressed as a punk that is fine with us.
Do I have to give money?
No, we do have a collection but this is primarily for our church members to support the work of the church. Please don’t be embarrassed to let the bag pass by!
What about my children?
In the morning, there is a crèche and a programme for young people. Your child can go to these, but if they feel anxious then they are equally welcome to stay in the service.
Are there baby changing facilities?
Yes. Facilities are available at the rear of the building: please ask the welcome team for more information.
Disabled people?
We aim to be an all-inclusive church; our premises are wheelchair accessible and we can make provision for parking on the forecourt to allow easy access. There is a fully wheelchair accessible toilet and a special ramp entrance into the church and level access into the hall at the rear. If you wish to discuss any specific needs please contact the church office. We also have a loop for hearing aid users.
Morning Service
Our morning service starts at 10:30am and finishes at approx 11:45. On a typical Sunday morning we start by worshipping God together through song, prayer and family time before the children go out to their groups; there is provision for baby’s right through to teenagers. After the morning service tea, coffee and biscuits are served in the hall, with plenty of time to chat.
Evening Service
In the evening we meet at 6:30pm for an informal time of worship, prayer and listen to God's word.
What happens after the service?
After the morning service most people stay for refreshments and chat for a while before heading home. This would be a great time for one or two us to get to know you if you can hang around.
Is it just Sundays?
Absolutely not! God is with us all week long and we aim to lead lives pleasing to him. There is something happening almost every day here at the Tab. Evening clubs run on Wednesday and Friday evenings catering for small children through to teens. We also have Friends Unlimited on a Monday (where it is possible to drop in for a coffee, chat and lunch), a toddler group on Wednesday mornings, a Widows Support Group every other Friday and much more. Feel free to browse this site for more information. Any special events details will be found on the Tab News page.
Can I arrange a meeting with the Minister or one of the main leaders?
Yes, if you can't get to see any of them during the service then contact us and we will set this up for you.
